State Vision News Service Kathua, Nov. 19 Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Dr. Rakesh Minhas on Tuesday chaired a preparatory meeting for the upcoming JKSSB examination for the selection of JKP Constables here in the Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex. The JKSSB written examination for the posts of JKP Constable is scheduled on 1st December 2024, from 12 noon to 2:00 PM. Dr. Minhas conducted detailed discussions with stakeholders to ensure comprehensive arrangements for the smooth conduct of the examination as it is largest ever examination drive by JKSSB. It was decided that a total of 38 examination centers will be established across the district to accommodate approximately 16500 candidates. The meeting focused on essential arrangements, including drinking water facilities, power supply, seating arrangements, security protocols and videography procedures. The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of close coordination among all stakeholders, urging them to work collaboratively to ensure a seamless and secure examination process. He also assigned specific responsibilities to officers to facilitate the examination s smooth execution across the district. Special emphasis was placed on deploying female staff for frisking purposes, as the examination includes both male and female aspirants. Among others, ADC Kathua Ranjit Singh, GM DIC, and other officers, including Designated Superintendents and Observers were also present.
